The Release of Art, Craft, Color & Our Newest Basket Kit

We are so beyond excited to celebrate the release of Lisa Solomon’s beautiful new book, Art, Craft, Color.

Art meets craft in this stunning visual journey through 20 vibrant projects, each inspired by a different color of the rainbow. The book is a true celebration of creativity, color, and making by hand — thoughtful, joyful, and deeply inspiring. This book invites makers of all kinds to explore color in a way that feels both playful and nuanced, to experiment, to explore, and to trust their creative instincts.

To mark the release, we’re extra thrilled to introduce our newest basket kit: the Solomon Coiled Bowl. Designed exclusively for the book by Anne Weil, this special project brings Anne's signature approach to a tactile, meditative form. Bundling, coiling, stitching — it’s a beautiful reminder of how powerful simple materials can be in the hands of a maker. We couldn’t be more excited to finally share it with you.

The book also features inspiring projects by an incredible lineup of artists, including Jen Hewett, Robert Mahar, Sonya Philip, Rashida Coleman-Hale, and Courtney Cerruti — just to name a few. Each contributor brings their own voice and perspective to the theme of color, resulting in a rich, layered collection of projects that feels cohesive and also wonderfully diverse.
