Beginner Knitter Video Series - Scarf, Hat, and Mittens!
I have an amazing beginner knitter video series to announce! I created a full set of scarf, hat, and mitten patterns progressing in difficulty just for you, the beginner knitter. This course is custom-made in partnership with Yarnspirations for you knitters out there that are ready to delve further into knitting. The courses are FREE, too! Just sign up here, plus get 30% off of all materials. The classic beauty and simplicity of this set of patterns thrills me.
This beginner knitter video series walks you through exactly how to make each knit item and follow each pattern step-by-step. None of these items use circular needles so that the knitting is straightforward and simple. In the scarf above, you’ll learn how to cast-on, how to knit, and how to make color changes. Next, the hat video will teach you how to make ribbing and decreases in the hat to shape it.
Finally, in the mitten video, step up your skills once more for these great beginner mittens. In the mitten video, you learn about shaping, setting aside stitches for the thumb and increasing and decreasing where you need to. The ragg wool (a mixture of dark wool and light twisted together) takes me back to my childhood days in Minnesota where these mittens were a given! If you’re looking for more, this group of patterns is similar to a scarf and mittens set I did a few years ago, which you can find here and here.
Certainly, any or all of these knit projects would make great holiday gifts this year. You have plenty of time to create a stack. The mittens come in two sizes Large and Small. Furthermore, the hat has options as well, make it with a brim or without.
Hopefully, these images will get you just as excited as I am about this fabulous beginner knitter video series! I am looking forward to some wintery, snowy days. Just sign up via this link and provide your email address and you’ll be set.
Finally, find a full set of crochet set of videos here to get you started, designed by the talented Daisy Farm Crafts. Now’s the time to dive in!
