Classic Double Crusted Apple PIe with Video Tutorial

I’m so happy to share this Thanksgiving Apple Pie Perfection recipe and video with you! My dear and talented photographer friend, Lucy Schaeffer, directed and shot the video. She features Grace Parisi, who writes the blog Tales of Recipe Goddess. Grace was with Food & Wine for over 20 years, and is now Executive Food Director for Oxmoor House, the book publishing division of Time Inc., so this apple pie is no joke. This tutorial makes it simple enough for me to try and I’m not usually a pie maker.

It’s not too late to run to the grocery store for apples. It just looks so good–can’t we skip the turkey? Well, even if you’re not going to bake the pie, watch the video. It’s just so beautiful, you feel like you’ve made and eaten it yourself without any of the muss or fuss.
