Comfort & Joy by Melynda Bernardi
I’m so thrilled to be part of the blog tour for Melynda Bernardi’s new book Comfort & Joy. I met Melynda a number of years ago at a conference. She struck me immediately as a warm, inviting and lovely person. She is, and everything she makes and designs reflects that exactly. I love this sweet little book filled with beautiful stocking designs. Melynda’s color work is extraordinary and these stockings are no exception. Now is the time to pick up a copy of Comfort & Joy and give color work a whirl!
First, the stocking patterns include a little something for everyone in your family! They’re all so charming it’s hard to choose which I like the best. Guess what? You may have to soon. I get to give a way a copy of the ebook to one lucky reader. Just leave a comment below about your favorite stocking and why and I’ll announce the winner on Friday.
CONGRATULATIONS KAREN!! I’ll email you shortly ??
Next, this self-published book is lovely. The patterns are laid out just how Melynda wanted them, clearly and beautifully, with easy to follow directions and charts in a nice big font – ahhh!
Now, let’s talk about how incredible it would be to have your mantle dressed with hand made stockings for everyone you love. The book or the stockings would make a wonderful holiday gift as well. Did you get everyone off your list? In the mean time, these lovely knitters hosting the blog tour, are worth taking the time to go visit:

You may be familiar with Melynda’s company, French Press Knits, which rose to fame with the adorable felted slippers that everyone loves. (Here’s my version of those.) Now, I couldn’t be be more thrilled for these new patterns from Melynda. And I know, this is just the beginning.
I love how cozy this all looks is in Melynda’s home. She better watch out or I may just want to go spend Christmas with her!
I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving. I, for one, am thrilled the holidays are upon us. It’s time to go get that Christmas tree and pull out the decorations. I get to decorate the new house this year and can’t wait to see how it all comes together.
