Book Signing + DIY Event at the Tattered Cover
I’m thrilled to announce a book signing and DIY event at one of my favorite independent book stores, The Tattered Cover in Denver, CO this coming Wednesday, March 23 at 7pm. I’ll be signing books, of course, but we’re also going to be making these beautiful statement necklaces, which is one of my favorite easy projects from Knitting Without Needles.
The Tattered Cover is renowned and has been in Denver institution since the early 1970s. I love independent bookstores, and this one has all the goods, old leather chairs, floors of books, and truly its own character. When I used to live in Boulder, CO, I would make special trips to Denver just for the Tattered Cover to see special author events, or as a fun place to meet a friend. I’m a bit beside myself that I am an author doing a book signing there. It’s surreal for me! Come join me so we can be excited together! At the event, I’ll also be sharing the technique of how to make this adorable, two-toned dog collar.
I wanted to reveal another accessory project from Knitting Without Needles that I don’t think I’ve shared before. It’s one of the other necklaces from the book and when I saw the photo of it, styled by Brittany Jepsen, I almost fell over, I loved it so much. It’s so white and dreamy and gorgeous with Morgan’s red hair framing the hemp necklace perfectly.
One of the cool things about the necklace that we’re going to make at the DIY event is that it is completely reversible. Just turn the necklace over and enjoy a different texture on the other side!
I hope you all have a gorgeous, relaxing March weekend ahead of you! Come join me if you’re in Denver next Wednesday! I’d love to see you.
