I recently had the good fortune of having a visit from my wonderful college friend and her husband. They brought with them the best kind of treat – their beautiful, new baby, Harper. Luckily for me, they were headed out for a job interview (yipee!! go Colorado!) and asked that I watch the baby.
Hmmm, five hours with a beautiful four-month old – its picture-time!! I just happened to have a few finished baby gifts lying around (Harper’s baby gift is something else for when he’s older – I’ll show you soon.) What an adorable little model. We had a blast!
Have I told you that I have a serious Debbie Bliss addiction issue? Pretty much for my entire adult knitting career (can I call it that?), I have knit solely for babies and toddlers and pretty much only from Debbie Bliss. That’s a little embarrassing to admit! Oh, but I’m branching out . . . just wait and see what’s coming down the pipeline, both my own designs and, yes, shocking, OTHER designers! What designers do you love that you hate to stray from?
I love the simple, classic, finely-detailed pieces that Debbie Bliss designs. Don’t you love the added detail in the purl lines of this vest from
Essential Baby? Here is the link to the vest on
Ravelry.
Look at those thighs – Don’t you want to eat him up?
Harper has a two-post spread and look what’s coming next! Yes, its Debbie Bliss – but have you ever seen a cuter beret? Wait till you see it on the little guy!
Thanks for reading!
