This Finger Knit Trivet is an easy, yet beautiful project. I love the trivet’s simplicity, and the natural feel that the rope provides. The best part is that you can make the trivet in a jiffy, under half an hour. How beautiful would a series of these in different sizes strewn across a buffet be?
The pattern includes clear step-by-step instructions accompanied by beautiful photos.
:: Two-Finger Knitting
:: 20 yards of 1/4” sashing cord
:: 4” clear adhesive to secure rope ends (or use glue to keep from fraying).
:: 6.5” in diameter. To make the trivet larger or smaller simply knit a longer or shorter chain, respectively.
