Hello dears! I wanted to share a quick arm knit scarf pattern with you. I have an AMAZING arm knit pattern coming up in the next week or so, but I know you all have been clamoring for more. I would like to say we’re firmly out of chilly weather but don’t you know that chill hangs on for longer than any of us want! I am infamous for running out in a sweater and wishing I had a jacket. Rest assured, it’s not too late for a quick arm knit scarf to keep you cozy in this shoulder season.
This is just like your typical arm knit cowl, only you don’t sew it closed. Add tassels to the end and voila! The instructions are super easy and you know it doesn’t take long. Click on the links below in the pattern to get to my “how to” arm knit tutorial, or you can buy a handy dandy beautiful How to Arm Knit PDF here in my Etsy shop.
:: Cut 14 piles of six 8" strands of yarn for tassels.
:: To make tassel, fold a 6-strand bundle of yarn in half and insert the loop through the end of the scarf between two stitches.
:: Pull the ends of the bundle through the loop.
:: Pull taut. Distribute seven loops across the bottom of each end of the scarf (14 total), placing one tassel in the space between each stitch along the end.
