A GIANT Hand Crochet Heart to Spread Valentine's Love

Happy Valentine’s Day in advance! I made a ENORMOUS hand crochet heart for you guys out of the coolest, extreme, felted yarn. Yes, a Hand Crochet Heart! Did you know hand crochet was a thing? I’m not sure if it is, but with all this gigantic yarn around, it was only a matter of time before I gave it a whirl, am I right?

The extreme yarn to make the heart is the brainchild of the uber talented Jacqui Fink from Australia. She sells this gorgeous extreme knitting (or crocheting!) yarn called K1S1. Not to mention she makes insanely creative art herself! Check out her Instagram feed! If you want to give it a whirl on your own, I simply followed my instructions for the mini crocheted hearts pattern from last week. If you don’t have this yarn, simply ply 4 strands of super bulky yarn together and do the same. Isn’t it cool seeing it so enormous? I love the idea of transforming the very same pattern from something extremely tiny to something extemely HUGE. This heart is about 2 feet x 1.5 feet!
