In this current world of visual bombardment and information overload, I literally feel that my world is raining beautiful things I want to make. This plethora of inspiring DIYs is in addition to my own brain which is simply chock full of ideas I want to bring to life. It overwhelms me at times, but is also inspiring. My husband looks at me cockeyed when I explain my compulsion to make beautiful things. To create such gorgeous items out of nothing–this is what drives my happiness and fulfillment.

I want to start sharing the lovely things I wish I had more time to make with you. If I Had More Hours will be a regular series that will hopefully be a way for me to organize those projects that most catch my fancy.
