Easy pattern, didn’t work

I was really excited about this pattern. Had had it saved for years. Finally got around to it and it did not work for me at all. Maybe I had the wrong yarn. I basically created a net. Hopefully it works for others because it looks beautiful in the pictures

Hi Pattie, I'm so sorry you're disappointed. We don't want anyone to feel that way. Generally, if your project looks like a net, it means you used yarn that was too thin. You need to use thick enough yarn (or enough strands) so that it matches your 'needle' which is your arm. Then you get a full stitch and beautiful looking blanket.
