The second I saw it, I fell in love with this gorgeous linen bag, "The Field Bag," designed by Hannah Haworth for the Shaker Museum. It is gorgeous-- simple and classic, just the way I love! Inspired by Shaker baskets, the stitch pattern provides strength to the bag under a load. The handles are added seamlessly and echo the handles of iconic wooden carriers. I'm so excited about this collaboration with Hannah and hope it's the first of many.
The finished bag measures 12”W x 4”D x 12”H.
Kit Includes:
:: 3 skeins of Flax & Twine Daytime Linen DK Weight

The bag is made from the base up: knitted back and forth for the base, then stitches are picked up from the parameter to be knit in the round up to the handles, which are made in 2 back and forth sections then finished in the round.
