I love fingerless mitts for early fall or spring mornings. They keep your hands warm while still allowing you to hold your coffee, dog leash or market bag (or all 3!) Make these in just a few hours for a perfect thank you gift. Two skeins of yarn make 2 sets of mitts, one for you, one for the person you most want to be walking with! Mitts are knit flat and seamed up (though you can adapt pattern to knit them in the round, if desired). Each set of mitts requires 68 yards Color A DK-Weight yarn, and 62 yards Color B DK-Weight yarn. Gauge is 22 stitches and 30 rows to 4" in striped stockinette on larger needles.
