Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Skeins of yarn must not be opened. It must also be in the original packaging.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Refund amount will be less the shipping charge required to return the item, if applicable.
Exchanges

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

I am a beginner and at first this kit looked a little daunting, but honestly it is pretty simple to put together and the basket turns out so beautifully! The instructions and video are great. All the materials that come in the Flax and Twine kits are nice quality, too. I love everything I’ve gotten from them so far!
Rope is too flimsy to make a solid basket even after adding additional stitches. The color is pretty but it's such a flexible rope that it affects the stability of the "basket" and makes it uneven no matter how much you attempt to keep the tensions even.
Hi Jennifer! Thanks so much for taking the time to provide your feedback. We understand that working with cotton rope as basket material can sometimes be tricky to get the tension right. You're correct that it is a little more flexible which makes it harder to shape as you go. If you're looking for a basket that has more stiffness, and is more traditional, try the Calliope or Autumn and I think you may enjoy it more! These were bought to make with my two daughters and my 3 granddaughters and grandsons can wait to make them.
I’m working on it now and I’m struggling a little. I can send a pic in a few days an show you my progress. It's a lot of fun just having a little trouble with how tight to pull the linen. But I have high hopes!

It just takes a little practice to get a feel for it. Sometimes beginners start or restart a couple times before they really get the hang of it. Sounds like you're doing a great job.
