Trellis Stitch Drawstring Bag Pattern - Mini and Regular

This beautiful knit drawstring bag features a simple, sweet stitch pattern with a hem channel and cleverly constructed drawstring (no i-cord needed). Made with our lustrous DK Weight or Fingering Weight Linen yarn, the Trellis Stitch Drawstring Bag (available in Regular and Mini) has a boxed bottom so it sits flat and makes a great project bag. A lining can even be added, and you may just want to knit one in every color!
Pattern includes a link to a step-by-step video tutorial for how to make the hem channel, as well as a detailed photographic tutorial for the bag and drawstring.
This pattern makes two sizes:
:: REGULAR: 1 skein Flax & Twine Daytime Linen DK Weight (100% linen; 125 yds/100 g)
:: MINI: 1 skein Flax & Twine Daytime Linen Fingering Weight (100% linen; 125 yds/100 g)

:: Tapestry Needle
:: Spare Knitting Needle (US 1 for Mini, US 1 or 2 for Regular)
:: Measuring Tape
REGULAR: US 6/4 mm straight or circular needles
MINI: Size US 2/2.75mm straight or circular needles
Finished Size:
:: REGULAR: 5.5" x 9" bag
:: MINI: 3" x 5" bag
Care Instructions: Spot clean or gently hand wash cold. Lay flat to dry. Avoid agitation to prevent felting

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Skeins of yarn must not be opened. It must also be in the original packaging.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Refund amount will be less the shipping charge required to return the item, if applicable.
Exchanges

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
